Polices

Reservations

There is a 2-night minimum on all holiday reservations. A 50% lodging deposit, $85 boat deposit and 50% deposit for any guided services are required. Receipt of deposit within 7 days will confirm reservations. Remaining balances are due on day of departure plus local tax. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Travelers Cheques, personal checks, and cash.

Cancellations

A 21 day cancellation notice is required to have deposit refunded, less a $20 handling fee. Late cancellation less than 21 days may have deposit refunded if bookings are resold, less $20 handling fee. No refunds will be made for early departures or inclement weather.
Cancellations need to be made by phone, person to person. Please note phone messages or email cancellations are not accepted!

*All pets are considered extra guests.
Ozark Mountain air is good for pets! Riley's Station is a perfect pet friendly outdoor vacation. Run, hike, and swim with your dog. Access to thousands of acres of hiking and a wonderful river playground out the door of your cabin. Islands to explore while you bank fish.

*Pets cost an extra guest charge: $10/night/pet

A few simple rules for bringing your pet:

  1. You must have prior approval from Riley's on all pets.
  2. Clean after your pets in cabins. We have lint brushes if you need one.
  3. Do not leave them unattended in cabins. Use a pet crate.
  4. Any damage done by your pet will be billed to your account.
  5. They don't have to be leashed, unless they are unfriendly to children, strangers, or farm animals.
  6. No pets allowed in River Villa, sorry.

What should I bring for our outdoor adventure?

Everyone should bring the following no matter what activity you will be participating in: Wide-brim hat, polarized sunglasses, sunblock, cameras, binoculars, outdoor boots or shoes, cooler, walkie talkies (for larger groups) and a big smile!

What is the closest town for groceries and restaurants?

Groceries restaurants and shopping can be found in Mountain Home, Gassville or Flippin. Super Wal-Mart in Mountain Home. There are no stores in Buffalo City. It is 15 miles to town from Riley's. May be best to shop before arrival. Dry county on Sunday.

Are there TV's in the cabins?

Tv's and Vcr's are in cabins (dvd in Log and River Villa). There is no cable, satellite or local tv channels (except for River Villa and cedar gables). Riley's has a variety of movies for your use (free) at the office. If you need to watch a ball game, Nascar or special show, we can recommend several restaurants and lounges that carry sports programming.

What are some other nearby attractions?

Branson/Springfield areas (1-2 hrs), Bass Pro Shop, Wonders of Wildlife Springfield, Ozark Folk Center, Mountain View,AR, Blanchard Springs Caverns, Dawt Mill, Silver Dollar City, Big Creek Golf Course, Twin Lakes Golf Course, Area antiques & shopping, Norfork River and Norfork Dam, Norfork National Fish Hatchery, Bull Shoals Dam, and Bull Shoals or Norfork Lakes. Ask us about any of these, we will be glad to help! We love the whole Dam area!

Do you have any gear rentals?

We rent fly/spin rods, waders & wading boots, field guides for wildflowers, birds and wildlife, day packs with water bottles, and all necessary overnight equipment.

Can you fly into Mountain Home?

As of now, Baxter County Regional Airport has no commercial air services. For private charters, contact them at 870-481-5995. You can fly into Springfield, MO airport (2 hrs away) or Little Rock, AR airport (3 hrs away). Both have rental car services and we can provide shuttle services for any location for a fee.

When is the best time to come to Riley's?

The North Central Arkansas area sports all 4 seasons. Trout fishing knows no season because of the water temperature staying the same year round. Hunting season starts in October and ends late February. Spring turkey normally falls in the month of April. (see Ozark Mountain Wilderness Trails) Bass fishing runs hot normally from early March until Thanksgiving. For the rivers to yourself or going after "trophy trout", winter may be just for you! It is beautiful here year-round, come enjoy one or more of the four seasons with us! (see Ozark Fly Fishing and Rivers)

How do I get there?

There are several ways to get to Riley's Station in the Ozark Mountains. All we know is once arrived, you won't want to leave.

  1. 62/412 West between Mountain Home and Gassville, AR turn south onto HWY 126 (Hwy 126 is directly across from Twin Lakes Farm tractor dealership)
  2. (There are also signs "White River public access, Buffalo City")
  3. Go 4 miles until the 4-way stop (look for our sign).
  4. Right turn at 4-way stop sign & continue on HWY 126 for 6.2 miles
  5. Turn left on CR 638, you will see our large-reflective sign.
  6. Follow our other signs (posted on the county road posts) that will lead you into our gate.
